Luis Martínez Andrade received his PhD in Sociology from Ecole des Hautes études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. In 2009 he received the internationally acclaimed Thinking Against the Mainstream essay award in Havana. He currently holds the position of Scientific Collaborator at Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium. Amongst his many books are Religion without Redemption. Social Contradictions and Awakened Dreams in Latin America (Pluto Press, 2015), Ecología y Teología de la liberación. Crítica de la modernidad/colonialidad (Herder, 2019). He is co-editor of Decolonizing Liberation Theologies. Past, Present, and Future (Palgrave, 2023) and of Indecentes e Indignadas. Teologías, Pedagogías y praxis de liberación en América Latina (Laboratorio Educativo, 2024).

is originally from Colombia (muysca territory) and currently serves as the advocacy coordinator at the Social Justice and Ecology Secretariat (SJES) of the Society of Jesus in Rome, Italy. She holds a master’s degree from The American University of Rome and a bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College at the City University of New York. Daniela is committed to gender-based violence and cross-cultural advocacy with those who hold lived experience of displacement, the central theme of her TEDx talk. She is an alumna of the Nobel Women’s Initiative 2025 Sister-to-Sister Program, and has previously worked for the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), OXFAM and UNICEF Italia, and FAO.

Jakub Kowalewski is Associate Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, Religions and Liberal Arts, University of Winchester; and Associate Lecturer, Department of Humanities, University of Chichester. His research focuses on climate apocalypticism, and is the author of numerous academic articles. He is the editor of the book, The Environmental Apocalypse: Interdisciplinary Reflections on the Climate Crisis (Routledge 2022).
