This is a 9-day introductory course to the Ignatian model of spiritual accompaniment, using principles based on the Spiritual Exercises. It’s suitable for a wide range of people including those who work in pastoral settings (hospital & prison visitors, chaplains, clergy, Eucharistic ministers, catechists) and anyone who is simply interested in having deep life-giving conversations with others. Although this course does not provide full training for people to offer spiritual direction, it introduces some of the necessary skills and it may reveal a gift for spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition.
Our 2023 course is now fully booked and our 2024 course is open for booking (click here).
We offer regular 1-day events for people already working as spiritual directors, and other people with a listening component to to their ministry.
