Listening to the news and seeing updates from around the world on social media, we can easily feel overwhelmed! Any contribution we can make seems small, and where do we even begin? It’s important to make space to listen, and discern where God wants us to be, and what we are being called to do.
During the day there will be time to pray and reflect on your place in responding to the needs around you, and to learn more about the practise of discernment, as well as the tradition of social and environmental justice in Ignatian teaching.
Whilst there will be time for individual discernment, it is suggested that you continue the process of discernment after the day. This can be with your own spiritual director, or as part of the Advent Retreat in Daily Life that takes place the week after. If you do not have a spiritual director but would be interested in having some follow up sessions with someone after the retreat then please let us know in the notes section of the enrolment form.
