Jacqui originally trained as a musician and for most of her career taught music, performing arts and RE in Sixth Form Colleges and secondary schools, also working with students with additional learning needs. She has worked as a pastoral mentor in a school and as the Spiritual Wellbeing Lead for a Christian charity. In 2015 she started her training as a spiritual accompanier, was introduced to Qigong as part of that course and was immediately hooked! She has been teaching Qigong since 2018 and currently has a ‘portfolio career’ working as a Qigong teacher, spiritual accompanier and leader of retreats and workshops on various aspects of spirituality, music and creativity. She also gets up at4:00 three mornings a week to do on-line grocery shopping at Sainsbury’s! In her spare time, Jacqui is the chairperson of a local allotment society and also of the Kundalini Collective, a peer-support group for people going through awakening experiences. She has many creative hobbies, including making altered books, composing music and making her own clothes, and has recently taken up book binding.
