We continue to follow John Dobson’s immersive programme for reading New Testament Greek text. You will already need to be familiar with the following basic elements of grammar and syntax from the first 30 chapters of his book: some standard verb paradigms, the endings and stem-forms of the five most common tenses, common noun, pronoun and adjective patterns, and common uses of subjunctive, infinitive and participle.
We will aim to begin with chapter 30 and work through between one and two chapters a week, according to the capacities of the group, and hope in the course of the term to spend substantial time exploring different areas of New Testament text.
