Brett H. Speakman completed his PhD at the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts (ITIA) at the University of St Andrews (UK). In addition to teaching courses in literature and theology at The McCallie School in the United States, he is an independent scholar whose research focuses on the interdisciplinary exploration between the primacy of imagination, natural theology and literature. He contributed to volume 4 of the Power of the Word series with an article on G.K. Chesterton and is a former reviews editor for The Journal of Inklings Studies and former senior editor for Transpositions: The Journal of Theology, Imagination and the Arts.
