Professor Reddie is director of the Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture, editor of the academic journal, Black Theology, and author of numerous books and publications. His research focuses on the interface between Black theology and decolonial/transformative education as a means of conscientization and empowerment. The penultimate chapter of his book, Theologising Brexit (Routledge, 2010) explores these themes in the context of cricket, and would be an excellent introduction to his talk.
