Our March 2023 Professor CSP Hunter scholarship recipient is Dr Michael Hahn.

We are extremely pleased to share the news of our March 2023 The Professor CSP Hunter Scholarships : Dr Michael Hahn!

Michael is a medieval theological historian working on Franciscan mysticism. Having taught at York St John, St Andrews and Toronto, and being a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies, Michael runs Sarum College’s Christian Spirituality MA and is the University of London’s History of Christianity tutor. More at Dr Michael Hahn - Sarum College

Heythrop’s library has a significant holding of material on Christian spirituality, mysticism and Franciscan with a specific world-leading focus on the Catholic traditions. Access would therefore be very helpful in completing my book on early Franciscan mysticism and moving forward with my new project on Angela of Foligno’s reception across a range of medieval and early modern contexts from Catholic sources.
